"Runnin' Away with My Heart" is a song performed by American country music band Lonestar. It was released in May 1996 as the third single and fourth track from their self-titled debut album. It peaked at number 8 on the country charts in the United States, and at number 9 in Canada. Michael Britt, the band's lead guitarist, co-wrote the song with Mark D. Sanders and Sam Hogin.[1]

Content

The song's narrator is trying to go after his lover, who seems to be leaving him, and now the narrator will do anything without stopping to catch her, because she's running away with his heart.
