The rufous crab hawk or rufous crab-hawk, (Buteogallus aequinoctialis) is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family
It is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.
