Ruby jubilee
A ruby jubilee is a celebration held to mark a 40th or (less commonly) 80th anniversary.[1]
Ruby jubilees in recent history
- Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom celebrated her Ruby Jubilee on 6 February 1992.[2]
- Queen Margrethe II of Denmark celebrated her Ruby Jubilee on 14 January 2012.[3][4]
- King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden celebrated his Ruby Jubilee on 15 September 2013.[5]
