Rossi Ice Cream
Rossi Ice Cream is a company making ice cream in the Southend-on-Sea area of Essex. In Southend, Rossi owns several ice cream parlours, kiosks, and vans; and have a factory to make the ice cream.
Founded in 1932, the company stopped trading during the Second World War and re-opened in 1946.[1]
Described by the London Evening Standard as an "Essex institution".[2]
Rossi is famous for its lemon sorbet,[3] which was awarded a gold award from the Ice Cream Alliance in 2007.[4]
