Located 6 km away from Pavlikeni,and 4 km away from Byala Cherkva.Near to the village passes the river Rositsa.[1]

History

The village Rositsa were foundeed in XV century.In the areas Yortluka and Bati bara It existed a village from the Byzantine period. This village had relationships with the destroyed monastery Saint Ivan Predtecha. During the ottoman rule the village were Islamization. Many from the Bulgarian were woved to the nearest village Byala Cherkva. In 1830s few families Ignatovi,Halachev,Sarbilashevi moved to the village. After 1878 many Bulgarians returned to the Rositsa. The turks located in the south part of the village. The village were named Gruhcheva mahala to 1934. A terrible flood befalls village Rositsa in 1939. In the 50s the population were 870 citizens.[2]
