Roman Moiseyev

Roman Yurevich Moiseyev (born 12 May 1960) is a Russian conductor.

Roman Moiseyev was born in Moscow, Russia. He received a musical education at the Academic College of Music with the Moscow State Conservatory,[1] and later at the Russian Gnesin Academy of Music (1985–1992) and P.I.Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory with Gennady Rozhdestvensky (1993–94) and Dmitri Kitayenko (1994–98).

At present, Roman Moiseyev cooperates with the best Russian symphonic and opera collectives. His creative work has been highly appraised in Belarus, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Ukraine.[2] Maestro Moiseyev draws in young talented musicians to participate in his performances from as far as Japan, Korea, Israel, India and other countries. He also conducts workshops for beginning conductors.
