The Roman Catholic Diocese of Gliwice (Latin: Glivicen(sis)) is an diocese located in the city of Gliwice in the Ecclesiastical province of Katowice in Poland. About 91% of the population is Roman Catholic, however only 39% are practising Catholics (as of October 2013).
History
- March 25, 1992: Established as Diocese of Gliwice from the Diocese of Częstochowa, Diocese of Katowice and Diocese of Opole
