Rohan Smith (rugby league)

Rohan Smith (born in Australia), is an Australian rugby league coach. He is the former head coach of Tonga.[1][2] He was assistant coach to his father Brian Smith at the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League.[3]

In 2009 he was the head coach of the Newcastle Knights NYC team.[2][4]

He was assistant coach to his father Brian Smith at Newcastle in the National Rugby League competition during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.[4] He spent four years as an assistant coach at the New Zealand Warriors.[4][5]

He was formerly assistant to Tony Rea at Harlequins Rugby League in the European Super League competition, spending two seasons at the London club.[6][7]

He is the son of former Sydney Roosters coach Brian Smith[1][8] and brother of Keegan Smith, the strength and power coach of the Roosters.[9] and nephew to Warrington and former England national team coach, Tony Smith.[6]
