Rodrigo Paz Delgado is an Ecuadorian politician and businessman. He was the mayor of Quito from 1988 to 1992.[2] He ran as a presidential candidate in 1995/6.[3] One of his political parties was Democracia Popular (DP).[4]

Paz served for a time as the Finance Minister of Ecuador.[5] He has been the principal director Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito since 1997, but has been involved with the club since 1959.
