Rockingham City FC is an association football club based in Rockingham, Western Australia established in 1970. The club has been in the Football West State League Division 1 since 2001 after being relegated from the Premier League in the 2000 season. Rockingham City was denied a part of the inaugural National Premier League season by Football West however will apply again for the 2016 intake when the NPL is expanded to 14 teams. Rockingham City boasts the finest ground in Western Australia at Lark Hill Sportsplex, moving from the original ground at Dowling Street in 2008. Rockingham City also hosts a vast range of junior teams starting at Under 6's and women teams.
