Roberto Salcedo (born April 18, 1953) is a Dominican politician, actor and television producer. Salcedo is since 2002, the mayor of Santo Domingo, D. N..
Biography
Emeterio Antonio Salcedo Gavilán was born in 1953, in Villa Juana, then a village located in the outskirts of the city of Santo Domingo (now a borough of Santo Domingo).
Salcedo was born into a poor family. His father was a marine who earned RD$ 14 (US$ 14) per month, and his mother was a needlewoman.[2]
