Robert Trone
Robert Trone (born October 12, 1960) is the American co-owner and co-founder of Total Wine & More, the nation's largest retailer of fine wine, beer, and spirits.[1] The company is headquartered in Potomac, Maryland, United States.
Trone grew up on a 200-acre family farm where he raised chickens, corn, wheat, and hogs.[2] He entered the alcohol business in 1985 with his brother David Trone. Robert holds a BS degree from the Wharton School and a JD in Law from the University of Pennsylvania.
Robert and his wife, Anna Parisi-Trone, were awarded as Philanthropists of the Year for 2015 by The Community Foundation in Montgomery County.[3]
