Robert Sidaway is an actor, producer and writer born on 24 January 1942.[1][2]

As a producer and writer for film and television his credits include the films Rainbow, Nouvelle-France and Best of British.

As a stage actor appeared in seven West End productions, numerous provincial and international tours.

On television he appeared in two Doctor Who stories: as Avon in The Savages and Captain Jimmy Turner in The Invasion. Other roles include Joy Division, Crossroads, Villains, A Nice Girl Like Me, The Avengers, The Further Adventures of the Musketeers, Out of the Unknown, Emergency – Ward 10, No Hiding Place, Suspense and It Happened Like This. He provided narration for the animation series Chuck the Eco Duck (which he co-created).
