Robert Lortac

Robert Lortac (1884–1973) was a French writer and artist, mostly known for his cartoons.[1]

Early years

Most of his scripts were for the collections of publisher Artima.[2] For the Giordan brothers, he concentrated on comic script writing instead of the design. Lortac's first comics were "Damonax", issued in Gavroche in 1941, and "Tétar-Zan" for Mat.[2]
