Robert Blalack (born December 9, 1948) is a visual effects artist. His career began with the composite optical photography on Star Wars: Episode IV (1977) for which he shared the 1978 Academy Award for "Best Effects and Best Visuals".[1] He also shared the 1984 Emmy Award for "Outstanding Individual Achievement - Special Visual Effects" for his work on The Day After (1983).
