Rob Pottorf

Rob Pottorf (born c. 1959) is an American composer for film and television.

Early life and education

Pottorf was born and raised in Sidney, Ohio. He graduated in 1977 from Sidney High School. He was inducted into the same Hall of Fame in 2005.[1]

Career

After 10 years as Senior Music Composer with Paramount Parks (a division of Paramount Pictures/Viacom), Pottorf ventured out in 1999 to pursue his career in film and television. He scored animated series including “Hermie a Common Caterpillar” with Tim Conway and Don Knotts and “On the Farm” with Vince Gill, Amy Grant and Randy Travis. Recent films include 20th Century Fox’s 'The Trial' (starring Matthew Modine) and Lions Gate's, 'Unrequited' (starring Michael Welch of Twilight), the GMC Channel's 'Trinity Goodheart' (starring Eric Benet') "The Heart of Christmas" (starring Candace Cameron Bure) and CBS' Saturday morning cartoon, 'Danger Rangers' (starring Mark Hamill and Jerry Houser).
