Robert Ian Keogh (born 21 October 1991) is an English cricketer. Keogh is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Keogh made his debut in county cricket for Bedfordshire in the 2009 Minor Counties Championship against Suffolk. Keogh has to date made six Minor Counties Championship and two MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances for Bedfordshire.[1][2]
In the 2010 season he made his debut for Northamptonshire in a List A match against Yorkshire in the 2010 Clydesdale Bank 40.[3] He scored 11 runs before being dismissed by Steven Patterson.[4] In the 2011 season, Keogh made his Twenty20 debut in the Friends Provident t20 against Derbyshire. He featured in two more matches in that competition, against Lancashire and Durham.[5] These were his only appearances for Northamptonshire in 2011.
Rob was bought up through the colts section at Dunstable Town Cricket Club playing cricket for the club before joining the Northants cricket academy
