Rob is a settlement in the Municipality of Velike Lašče in Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local parish church, built on a hill north of the village, is dedicated to the Nativity of Mary and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ljubljana. It was built in 1845 on the site of an earlier church.[3]
