Riverina Highway is a highway in New South Wales, Australia.[1]
Westwards, the highway stretches from Hume Weir, immediately east of Albury to Deniliquin. It runs parallel to the Murray River until the junction to Corowa, passing through the Riverina district, where its name originates, then it goes northwest until it crosses the Newell Highway at Finley and then follows the Mulwala Canal westward until it ends in Deniliquin, meeting the Cobb Highway.
It passes through the Murray irrigation area where farms, orchards and vineyards predominate. It links this area to major markets in Sydney and Melbourne via Hume Highway in Albury. The highway is also a popular tourist route with scenic countryside, fishing and historic spots along its path.
