Ritz Azul (born Ritz Ann Riggie V. Alzul Bisenio on January 11, 1994), is a Filipino actress and television host.
Early life and career
Although born in Pampanga, Azul later moved to Quezon City. She first gained notice through TV5's talent search program Star Factor, where she ended up being the 4th Final Star.[1][2] She took up Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, but took a break from her studies to concentrate on her showbiz career.[2][3] Today, she is one of TV5's Primetime Princesses, which is composed of her, Danita Paner, Arci Muñoz, Jasmine Curtis and Eula Caballero.[4]
In 2011 Azul won two awards, one for Outstanding Breakthrough Performance by an Actress from the EMPRESS Golden Screen TV Awards and another for Amazing Female Newcomer from Yahoo! Philippines OMG Awards,[5][6] both for the drama series Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak.[7][8][9]
Since 2013 Azul was included for the FHM 100 Sexiest Women, and since 2014 she joins with fellow Kapampangan Maica Palo in the list, and in 2015 with Valeen Montenegro and Myrtle Sarrosa who also a former SK Chairwoman in Iloilo.[10]
Personal life
Ritz Azul was the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairwoman in her native town of Dila Dila in Santa Rita, Pampanga from 2010 to 2013.[2]
