Right on Track is a Disney Channel Original Movie. It was produced by Don Schain and directed by Duwayne Dunham; written by Sally Nemeth and Bruce Graham. The movie debuted on March 21, 2003 in the U.S.

Plot

Based on a true story about two sisters who came out on top of a man's sport. The story is based on Courtney and Erica Enders, two sisters who get in to junior drag racing and make it all the way to the top. The two sisters fight a battle of fellow racers who are against having girls race with them therefore it pushes them harder to compete against their competition. Erica becomes stressed when her racing life becomes mixed with her social life and academic goals, and decided to quit racing, until she realizes racing is what she truly wants to do. Finally towards the end of their teen years the Enders sisters come out on top to win the NHRA Junior Dragster national title. They continue to race throughout high school and college, and still do so today.

Afterward

Erica turned professional in 2005, participating in the Pro Stock class of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, and on July 1, 2012, became the first woman to win in the class by winning the O'Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 Nationals held at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL, defeating four-time series champion Greg Anderson in a live televised final on fellow Disney property ESPN2, and her boyfriend, fellow drag racer Richie Stevens, Jr., proposed on the spot. They married December 7, 2012.[1]

On November 16, 2014, Enders-Stevens defeated Jason Line in a winner-take-all final at the Pro Stock final in the Auto Club Finals at the Los Angeles County Fairplex. Enders-Stevens led Line by 17 points, with 20 points for a win, and both drivers reached the final round. In the final, both drivers fouled, with Line leaving eleven thousandths of a second before the light turned green (-.011 reaction time), and Enders-Stevens leaving two thousandths of a second before (-.002). Line committed the foul first, triggering the red light in his line and an automatic green in Enders-Steven's lane even though she left after Line but before a legal green light, giving her the NHRA Pro Stock championship. She was also named by Autosport magazine as their US "Racer of the Year" for 2014.[2] Mrs. Enders-Stevens followed that by clinching her second consecutive Pro Stock championship on November 1, 2015 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Courtney has participated in sportsman racing classes, but also has written for various drag racing sites.

Cast

The Enders sisters also made appearances as driving and stunt doubles for Mitchell and Larson.
