Rick S. Miera (born July 20, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico)[1][2] is a Democratic former member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing the 11th District since 1991. He was also a House Majority Leader. Miera did not seek reelection in 2014.[3]
Miera is an alumnus of the University of Albuquerque, receiving his B.Sc. and B.A. there in 1973. He has worked as a consultant and therapist but is currently retired.[4] He is married to Bern and has two children.[5]
