Richard Hasse Davis

Richard Hasse Davis OAM [1] is a South Australian businessman. He was born in 1945.

His business activities encompass several caravan parks (situated at Adelaide, Kadina, Moonta Bay and Port Hughes), a motel and restaurant and a significant regional brewery (Copper Coast Wines).

He is the President of the Caravan Parks Association of South Australia. Also, he is a member of the Board of the Caravan, RV & Accommodation Industry of Australia Ltd (the peak Australian National Tourism Body representing over 4000 caravan industry businesses ranging from caravan parks, manufacturers and retailers of caravan industry products, suppliers of goods and services, and service providers to that industry).

His community service includes serving as a councillor of the Copper Coast Council.

He was awarded with the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1999 for his services to South Australian tourism, particularly through the Caravan Parks Association of South Australia.

Davis is a founding member of the Quarter Club, a group which raises money to support Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games athletes.
