Reno Air National Guard Base

Reno Air National Guard Base is a facility of the United States Air Force located at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

History

The base was established on approximately 60-acre (24 ha) of land on the west side of the airport in 1954 when Air National Guard units relocated from the former Stead AFB in Reno. The base is home to the 152d Airlift Wing (152 AW), a Nevada Air National Guard unit operationally gained by the Air Mobility Command (AMC) and equipped with C-130H Hercules aircraft.
