The Refinería de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Oil refinery) is the industry's largest and most important of the Canary Islands[1] (Spain). Is controversial because of its large size, which prevents the growth of the city.
This refinery supplies petroleum products not only to the Canary Islands, but also to Africa and Americas. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the only provincial capital of more 100,000 people, home to a refinery.
