John "Red" Beattie (2 October 1906 – 7 January 1981) was a retired professional ice hockey forward.
Born in Ibstock, England, United Kingdom, but grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. Beattie played 335 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, and New York Americans. He played junior hockey in Vancouver.
