The red-chinned lorikeet (Charmosyna rubrigularis) is a species of parrot in the Psittaculidae family. It is endemic to New Britain, New Ireland, New Hannover and Karkar Island in Papua New Guinea.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
