Raymond Hughes (conductor)

Raymond Hughes is an American conductor and choral director.

Career

He was Chorus Master of the Metropolitan Opera in New York from 1991 to 2007.

Hughes made his conducting debut at Carnegie Hall in May 2007 leading Maurice Duruflé's Requiem.

He is currently director of the Thomasville Singers and artistic director of the Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe.
