Ray Fisher is an American stage actor, best known for his role in the comedy The Good, the Bad and the Confused.

Early life

Fisher grew up in Lawnside, New Jersey and attended Haddon Heights High School.[1] It was there that he was introduced to theatre by his high school English teacher. He was active in the school's theatre and choir program and sang in his church's choir.[2]

After high school, Fisher attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.[2]

Stage work

Since 2008, Fisher has performed with Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, including a starring role as Tom Robinson in the theater's production of To Kill a Mockingbird.[2]

In 2009, Fisher acted in William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth, at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison, New Jersey at Drew University.[3]

In fall of 2013, Fisher portrayed Muhammad Ali in the Off-Broadway production of Fetch Clay, Make Man at the New York Theatre Workshop in New York City.[3]

Film career

On April 24, 2014, it was announced that Fisher will portray the superhero Victor Stone / Cyborg in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.[4] and is expected to reprise his role in Justice League films. On October 15, 2014, it was announced that Fisher will reprise the role in his own solo Cyborg film in 2020.[5]
