Ravi Rana
Ravi Rana is an independent a second time MLA presently representing the Badnera Assembly Constituency (Amravati District of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra in the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. [1] Ravi Rana came in lime light when he announced that he will marry Navneet Kaur, a film star who worked in many South Indian films, in a mass marriage ceremony at a specially organised function where along with him and Navneet, 3100 other couples will also get married at the same time and at the same venue. The event took place on 3rd February 2011 and many leaders and other very important persons, including the then Chief Minister, Maharashtra and Yog Guru Baba Ramdev, remained present to bless the newly wed Ravi Rana and Navneet Kaur and the other more than 3100 couples belonging to various castes and religions.
On October 6 2015, Rana stopped an encroachment on a local barber's shop.[2]
