Ravi Bhatia (born on November 30, 1988) is an Indian television actor. He is currently seen in Zee TV's Jodha Akbar as Salim. He is from Rewalsar Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

Career

He moved to Mumbai when he was 18 and started with small roles in Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Veekram and Betal and Dharam Veer where Bhatia played the supporting role of Kranti.

He became famous when he participated in Bindass reality show Dadagiri; he was slapped by a female co-host and then slapped her back. He was then jumped by the staff.[1][2] He then played a supporting role in Star Plus show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, and later played lead role on Sahara One's Hamaari Beti Raaj Karegi. Recently, he was also seen as Vivek in Zee TV’s Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se.

In 2014, he was selected out of the 12 contestant for the role of Prince Salim in Ekta Kapoor's popular historical show Jodha Akbar.[3][4]
