Ram Murti Verma is an Indian politician and member of the Sixteenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Verma is a member of the Samajwadi Party and represents Akbarpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh.[1][2] He is the Minister of Milk and Dairy development of Uttar Pradesh, in office since 15 March 2012.

Early life and education

Ram Murti Verma was born in the village Dohripur, Ambedkar Nagar district, in the state of Uttar Pradesh in 1965. Verma belongs to the OBC category (kurmi). He enrolled for bachelor's degree but did not complete his education. Prior to joining politics, Verma was an agriculturist.[1]

Political career

Ram Murti Verma has been a MLA for one term (incumbent). He represents Akbarpur (Assembly constituency) and is a member of the Samaj wadi party and he also many time sansed of shahjahanpur.Samajwadi Party.[1]
