Jorge Bonifacio (born June 4, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball right fielder. He plays in Minor League Baseball for the Kansas City Royals organization.

The Kansas City Royals signed Bonifacio as an international free agent in 2009.^[1] He played for the Kane County Cougars of the Class A Midwest League, and appeared in the Midwest League All-Star Game.^[2] In 2013, Bonifacio began the season with the Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League. In the final weeks of the season, the Royals promoted Bonifacio to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals of the Class AA Texas League. After the season, they assigned him to the Peoria Javelinas of the Arizona Fall League.^[3] He was named to the Fall Stars Game.^[4]

The Royals invited Bonifacio to spring training in 2014.^[5][6] He played for the Naturals in 2014, and in 2015.^[7]

Bonifacio is the younger brother of Emilio Bonifacio.^[2][3]

Brett Eibner (born December 2, 1988) is a minor league baseball center fielder for the Kansas City Royals organization.

Eibner helped The Woodlands High School win the 2006 5A state championship as a junior, with teammate Kyle Drabek. As a senior, Eibner was named 15-5A first-team all-district outfielder. Despite being drafted by the Houston Astros in the 4th round of the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft, Eibner attended the University of Arkansas.

As a freshman, Eibner lead the team in RBI and had three game-winning hits. For his efforts, Eibner was named to Baseball America's Freshman All-American team in 2008.^[8] The following season, Eibner was named SEC Pitcher of the Week for his complete-game one-hit shutout win against the #1 Georgia Bulldogs.^[9] Eibner struggled significantly at the plate, with his average dropping to .231 and striking out 60 times. However, when the 2009 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team reached the College World Series, Eibner hit "one of the most memorable home runs in program history" when he tied an elimination game vs Virginia in the top of the ninth with a two-run home run.^[10] Eibner returned for his junior season with the Razorbacks, hitting .333 with 22 home runs. On the mound, Eibner went 3-5 in 58 innings for the Razorbacks in the regular season. In the 2010 Tempe, Arizona Super Regional, Eibner hit a game-tying home run with the Razorbacks down to their final strike, extending the game to extra innings where the Razorbacks lost in the 12th.^[11] Following the 2010 season, Eibner became the fourth Razorback to be named both a freshman All-American and All-American, including teammate Zack Cox.^[12] He was also a John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award Semifinalist, Second Team All-SEC, and ABCA/Rawlings First Team All-South Region player.^[13] When asked about returning to Northwest Arkansas with the Naturals, Eibner said "I think it’s going to be a great homecoming and I’m real excited. I hope to have a warm welcome from the fans there. I miss playing there and I can’t wait to do it".^[8] The Royals added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.^[14]

Balbino Rafael Pina Fuenmayor (born November 26, 1989) is a Venezuelan professional baseball first baseman in the Kansas City Royals organization.

Fuenmayor signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in 2006. He played in the Blue Jays organization until he was released in 2013.^[15] He spent the next two years playing independent baseball in the Frontier League, American Association and Canadian-American Association.^[16] Prior to 2015 he signed with the Kansas City Royals.^[17] He started with the Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals and was promoted to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers.^[18][19] In July he was selected to the All-Star Futures Game.

Martínez played in the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves organizations between 2006 and 2014.^[24] He also spent time with the Rockford Aviators of the Frontier League in 2014. Prior to 2015 season he signed with the Kansas City Royals. He was added to the Royals 40-man roster on November 6, 2015.

Mills played college baseball at the University of Tennessee at Martin. After his junior year he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 22nd round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.^[25] He signed with the Royals and made his professional debut with the Idaho Falls Chukars. He spent 2013 with the Lexington Legends, 2014 with Idaho Falls and Lexington and 2015 with the Wilmington Blue Rocks.^[26] The Royals added him to their 40-man roster after the season.^[27]

Ashelee "Ashe" Brenton Russell (born August 28, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals' organization.

Russell attended in Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year for Indiana both his junior and senior seasons.^[28][29] As a sophomore he went 12–1 with a 1.23 earned run average (ERA) with 101 strikeouts and as a junior he was 8–1 with a 0.88 ERA and 74 strikeouts.^[30]

Russell was selected by the Kansas City Royals as the 21st overall pick in the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.^[31] Russell signed with the Royals.^[32]

Edward Starlin Salcedo (born July 30, 1990) is a Dominican third baseman in the Kansas City Royals organization.

Salcedo signed with the Atlanta Braves on February 23, 2010, to a minor league contract. His $1.6 million signing bonus is the largest the Braves have ever given to an international prospect. The Braves say they regard the 6-foot-3 Salcedo as a first-round talent who is projected as a strong offensive and defensive player. He was named the 9th best Atlanta Braves prospect according to Kevin Goldstein of Baseball Prospectus.^[33] Salcedo's playing career was delayed due to suspicions about his valid age. He was once considered the top international prospect back in 2007 and was offered a $2.7 million signing bonus by the Cleveland Indians but was voided by the United States government due to his age.^[34]

On January 13, 2014, he was invited to spring training. The Braves traded Salcedo to the Pirates for Bryton Trepagnier on February 5, 2015.^[35] He was traded to the Kansas City Royals in August 2015.^[36]

Samuel Ayres Selman (born November 14, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Kansas City Royals organization.

Selman was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 14th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Austin, Texas. He did not sign and played college baseball at Vanderbilt University for the Commodores from 2010 to 2012.

Selman was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the second round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.^[37] He signed with the Royals and made his professional debut with the Idaho Falls Chukars, recording a 2.09 earned run average (ERA) and 89 strikeouts in 60 ¹⁄₃ innings. Selman played for the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2013. In a game against the Potomac Nationals in August, Selman was removed after eight no-hit innings due to pitch count.^[38] Selman started 2014 with the Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals and was promoted to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers in August.^[39]

Chase Vallot (born August 21, 1996) is an American professional baseball catcher in the Kansas City Royals organization.

Vallot attended St. Thomas More School in Lafayette, Louisiana. As a senior he hit .545 with 13 home runs and 60 runs batted in.^[46] He won numerous awards that year including Louisiana's Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year and Farm Bureau-Louisiana Sports Writers Association Mr. Baseball.^[47][48][49] He was also named the Louisville Slugger Player of the Year.^[50] During his career he hit .456 with 25 home runs in 65 games.^[51]

Vallot was drafted by the Kansas City Royals with the 40th overall pick in the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.^[52][53]
