Rajim Kumbh

Rajim Kumbh (Devanagari: राजिम कुम्भ or कुंभ)is a Hindu pilgrimage of people and religious gurus held every year at Rajim, India.

Rajim has been a pilgrimage centre for followers of Vaishnavism from ancient times. It is also a known Shaiv dharma centre. In old times it was a camping station on the pilgrimage route. The ritual of Kalpvas was performed at Rajim just like it is at Allahabad. The religious congregation at Rajim performs a ceremony known as the 'fifth Kumbh' which is similar to the traditional 'Punni mela' observed every year at the famous Rajiv Lochan temple located near the holy confluence of the Mahanadi, Pairi and Sondur rivers in Rajim.

Rajim is located in Gariyaband district.

the Rajim kumbh are celebrated in February-March in every year for about 16 days.

Rituals performed

Thousands of Sadhu, Sant, Mahatama, Rishi, Muni and Margdarshak Guru come to Rajim Kumbh each year for the festival. People start coming to Rajim one day ahead of time, and take part in the special puja performed at midnight. The temples that are a must to visit are the Shri Kuleshwar Mahadev and Shri Rajiv Lochan. Devotees take a holy bath in the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the three rivers.

Rajim is located in the Gariyabandh district of Chhattisgarh state in India.

The Shri Rajiv Lochan Mandir and the Rajiv Lochan temple are located in Rajim near Raipur, as well as more temples and ashrams, the seat of God and spiritual gurus.

RAJIM is a Prayagraj of Chhattisgarh.Because there are many temple in this area mainly Rajiv Lochan, Mama Banja, Kuleswer mahadev, Rajim Bhaktin mata KARMA and many more. Out of this temple Kuleswer mahadev is situated at the mid of three river stream Pairy,Sondhur and Mahanadi.
