Overview

The album is representative of Mathis' pop albums of the period. Around this time, he was recording cover versions of contemporary song hits combined with popular film themes of the day. Seven of the eleven album cuts come from films released in the 1960s, the balance being made up of covers of recent hits by other artists. Musical direction was provided by Al Capps, Ernie Freeman and producer Jack Gold.
