Railway Children (charity)

The Railway Children is an international children's charity, which aims to help runaway children and street children in India, East Africa and the UK. It is based in Cheshire, England, and is a registered charity under English law.[1]
It was founded in 1995 by David Maidment, former Controller of Safety Policy at British Rail.[2] It receives support from many within the British railway industry and railway enthusiasts.
