Raiganj University (Bengali: রায়গঞ্জ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a public university in Raiganj, in the Uttar Dinajpur district. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It became a university in August 2015. Earlier it was affiliated to the University of North Bengal.[1] It offers Ph.D. programmes in the Department of Botany, Chemistry and Physics.

Accreditation
The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).[2] It was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and awarded B+ grade, an accreditation that has since expired.[3]
