R. Padmanaban

R. Padmanabhan (1895–1983) was one of the pioneers of South Indian Film Industry. He initially started distribution of silent films and later started directing and producing his own movies. He was son of K. Rangaswamy Iyer, of Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu.
