Røkland is a village in the municipality of Saltdal in Nordland county, Norway. The village is located along the Saltdalselva river about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south of the municipal centre of Rognan. The European route E06 and the Nordlandsbanen railway line both pass through the village. Røkland Station is a train station along Nordlandsbanen.[3]
The 1.04-square-kilometre (260-acre) village has a population (2011) of 451. The population density is 434 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,120/sq mi).[1] Øvre Saltdal Church is located in Røkland.
