Quepos La Managua Airport (IATA: XQP, ICAO: MRQP) is an airport located approximately 5 km (3.1 mi) east of Quepos, Costa Rica, serving this city, as well as the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park and other tourist attractions in the central part of Puntarenas Province. The airport receives its name after the barrio La Managua, where the airport is located.
La Managua airport is one of the most important airports in Costa Rica, the fourth busiest in the country by passenger traffic and the second busiest domestic-only airport after Puerto Jiménez Airport. The airport is owned and managed by the country's Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

Manuel Antonio National Park
Quepos is very well known for its proximity to the national park Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio national park consists of 4 really nice beaches and has 4.7 miles of hiking trails, where you can encounter a wide variety of wildlife.
Fishing
Fishing is the second most popular activity in Quepos behind the national park, and there are over 100 different sport fishing boats to meet all the needs of any angler.
White Water Rafting
Another super popular activity in Quepos is the white water rafting. From December to April, it is a very leisurely trip on a raft through the mountains in pristine rivers. From May to November, Quepos has several tours which go through rapids from stage III all the way up to the very technical stage V.
