Qishqi (local Quechua for a type of bromeliad,[2][3] hispanicized spelling Gueshgue, Queshque) is a 5,630 m (18,471 ft) high mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huari Province, Chavín de Huantar District, and in the Recuay Province, Catac District. Its waters flow to Qishqiqucha.[1]
The volume of mass loss of the three glaciers of the Qisqhi massif has been documented recently.[4]
