Pyrausta insignitalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Guenée in 1854.[1] It is found in the United States, where it has been recorded from Florida and South Carolina.[2] It is also found on the West Indies, as well as in Central America and South America.[3]

The wingspan is about 15–16 mm.[4] Adults have been recorded on wing year round.
