The Purpose World Tour is the third worldwide tour by Canadian singer Justin Bieber. It is in support of his fourth studio album, Purpose.[1] The tour is set to begin on March 9, 2016, in Seattle, Washington and scheduled to end on November 29, 2016, in London.[2]

Background

The tour was announced on November 11, 2015, on The Ellen Degeneres Show. That same day, fifty-eight dates in the United States and Canada were revealed on the singer's website.[3] Due to an overwhelming demand, additional shows were added in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami and New York, totaling 64 shows.[2]
