Pure Abodes

Pure Abodes(Suddhavasa) are five group of Brahma realms which exist at the highest place in the Material Realms(Rupa Bhumi). These worlds are Material. But only accessible to non-returners (Anagamis) and Arahants, it means a being who is not Anagami or not Arahant can't go to these worlds(in the same life or after death) even if he did highest possible mediation. So, All beings there should be only followers of a Sammāsambuddhas who became Anagami(since Arahant will not rebirth). Sometimes, for many 'Asankheyya kappas', when no Buddhas are born, these worlds remain empty.

Pure Abodes Brahma worlds are as follows;

• (1) Akanita Brahma Loka — Highest plane of pure adobes(This is the highest celestial world)
• (2) Sudassi Brahma Loka — Plane of Clear Sight
• (3) Sudassa Brahma Loka — Plane of Beauty
• (4) Atappa Brahma Loka — Plane of Serenity
• (5) Aviha Brahma Loka — Plane of Durability
