Ptychadena chrysogaster is a species of frog in the Ptychadenidae family. It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, and rivers.
