Career highlights and awards

Przemysław "Przemek" Karnowski (Polish pronunciation: [ˈpʂɛmɛk karˈnɔfskʲi]; born 8 November 1993) is a Polish college basketball player at Gonzaga University. He has also played for the Polish national team. He is currently in his senior season and is viewed by some draft analysts as a potential first round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

College career

Przemek narrowed his decision down to California and Gonzaga. He committed to Gonzaga on May 29, 2012.[1] For his freshman season he was behind star Canadian center Kelly Olynyk, a future lottery pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. In the 2013-14 season Karnowski averaged 10.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game as the Bulldogs' starting center.[2] As a junior he averaged 11 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1 block per game.[3] Due to back problems, Karnowski was forced to have surgery five games into his senior season. He will likely receive a medical redshirt. He was averaging 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in those five games.[4]
