Prostitution in Sri Lanka
Prostitution in Sri Lanka is not legal, and soliciting and running brothels is under the vagrants ordinance and the brothels ordinance.[1] It is also illegal to procure and traffic persons for prostitution. Prostitution has not become as severe a problem in Sri Lanka as in some neighboring countries.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
