Prometheus Bound (Rubens)

The painting was first started between 1611 and 1612, and was completed by 1618, with the eagle painted by the specialist animal painter Frans Snyders. For a long time Rubens kept it in his own personal collection. It is now in the collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Pennsylvania.
