Profile of mood states

The Profile of Mood States (POMS) is a psychological rating scale used to assess transient, distinct mood states.

Profile of Mood States - long form

The long form of the POMS consists of 65 adjectives that are rated by subjects on a 5-point scale. Six factors have been derived from this:

POMS Standard
tension-anxiety
depression-dejection
anger-hostility
fatigue-inertia
vigor-activity
confusion-bewilderment
POMS
POMS or Profile of Mood States measures affective mood states and uses three tests to measure and identify them
