Prithvi Singh Ravish is an Ambassador-At-Large of the International Human Rights Commission-IHRC for India.[1]

Early years and education

Ravish was born on 7 July 1946, at a village Guliana in Haryana, India. Ravish completed his matriculation and Pre-university examination from the Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1967 & 1969; Graduation from Jabalpur University in 1972; DOMH-DMMH-DOSH diplomas in Homeopathy 1985; Earned Fellowship from United Writers Association of India in 1999; Fellowship of IBRF { International Benevolent Research Forum, Member Nominee: World Human Rights Council, New York, London Diplomatic Academy & Member of Indian NGO’s for co-operation with United Nations-FINCUN } in 2003; Master of Business Administration (Personnel) from Newport University in 2005; The degree Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration through distance education from Devon University England awarded Summa-cum-Laude with greatest distinctions in 2006; Further he was conferred upon Ph.D (Honoris Causa) in Humanity on 31 January 2013 and again was conferred the Degree of Doctor of Humanity (Honoris Causa) on March 14, 2014 by Academy of Universal Global Peace, Chennai-India.

Career

Ravish served the nation in Indian Army in the Corps of Military Police [CMP] from December 1965 to 31 December 1980.

He was appointed as President Haryana State Unit of Rajivwadi Congress in 1996. Nationalist Congress Party [NCP] appointed him as Member of the Co-ordination Committee for Haryana State in July 1999 and Ravish was selected by NCP to contest from “Kurukshetra Parliamentary Constituency of Haryana State”. Hind Sangram Parishad ( a registered social organization of India) nominated Prithvi Singh Ravish as its National President in 2001 for the terms of 3 years.

He worked as Chief Coordinator for foreign relations of 'Global Human Rights Protection Research and Education Society of North India' (Regd.) From July 2005 to December 2010.

Being a life member of Youth Hostels Association of India Prithvi Singh Ravish was nominated as Chairman of Panchkula unit for the terms of 3 years by State Body YHAI Haryana in 2006. He was again nominated anonymously as National President in the general body meeting of Hind Sangram Parishad for the next three years term from 2008-2011.

Prithvi Singh Ravish was appointed and designated as the "Ambassador of Goodwill for India" by International Human Rights Commission-IHRC on October 4, 2012. SPMUDA[2] International Organisation of Philippines acommissioned him as "SPMUDA Goodwill Ambassador of Peace, Unity & Humanity/India Chairman, Asia-Pacific Advisor of Consultants Council with a rank of Goodwill Ambassador-At-Large" for India on October 8, 2012. International Human Rights Commission-IHRC promoted him as 'Ambassador of IHRC to India' with accredited diplomatic rank on 24 February 2013 with additional portfolio of Asst Chair Asia for the Council of Interfaith Harmony.[3]

Prithvi Singh Ravish is adorned with Royal Honor by ‘DECREE’ in the rank of His Royal Highness (HRH) Datu Duke and Royal Ambassador for India, anointed on 24 April 2013 by 'Pegsalabak Subanen Royal Sovereign Order, Misamis Occidental & Zamboange Tribal Peninsula Mindanao, Philippines' known as Royal Empire Circle & Power House.[4]

Ravish portfolio of Ambassador was upgraded as an Ambassador-At-Large of IHRC to India & SAARC[5] with effect from September 4, 2014. The additional portfolio of Asst Chair Asia for the IHRC Council of Interfaith Harmony is in existence since February 24, 2013.

He was nominated as an Executive Chairman-cum-Managing Director by the board of directors of Indo-Argentina Chamber of Commerce[6] on February 6, 2014. He is ordained as "Goodwill Ambassador of Peace"[7] of AUGP for Punjab-India on voluntary basis with effect from March 2014.

Prithvi Singh Ravish, Ambassador-at-Large to India & SAARC [1][8] was appointed as an “International Officially Accredited Observer” by Central Election Commission of Ukraine to monitor Parliament Election Ukraine on October 26, 2014 at Polling Station No.: 900 025 in Ukrainian Embassy,[9] New Delhi India.

Awards

Ravish has represented India in the “World Summit on Human Rights and Peace’-2013”,[10] in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Personal life

Prithvi Singh Ravish and his wife Veena Ravish have one son.
